I have 0 interest in the cloning service anyway so not a big deal to me. Very little is actually about the cloning service. The cost thing I understand why the question is asked, but the reporting players question makes me uneasy since blizzard should be tracking that in the first place. Wouldn't Blizzard know the numbers using it already? I don't understand about the reporting players question. anything higher than 10 bucks is a plain scam. Comment by Snakeslick on T19:40:46-05:00įor 10 bucks i would buy a clone, but probably not any more than one. I think $9.99 is a fair price for those who do, however. But then, I don't play much Classic, so I wouldn't clone any of my lowbies at all. I got $34.99 as my "clone" payment option. I answered questions about griefing, what I thought of Shadowlands, what my priorities were in terms of reasons I play, things like that. It asked about much more than just Classic. It was pretty comprehensive, to be honest. If the score is high it will become a higher priority for the company (that's why they even do these surveys, obviously) if the score is low, it means the overal playerbase does not care that much about it so there's not much to be done about the issue. If players are offended, they will select 100%.

They won't ask on Reddit or Wowhead so that 20 players will say bots are terrible, they send the survey randomly to thousands of players and are then measuring the results. That's even the role of this survey, to measure how bad this is. They are measuring the player perception on bots, ie how often players see bots. You just have to type /who blackrock rogue 60 and voila

Blizzard seems to be paying attention to the community on this topic, and is looking for more feedback in the survey.īlizzard are completely blind with their question about bots. With Level 58 Boosts being a service offered in Burning Crusade, it seems highly likely that botting will only grow more popular once the Dark Portal opens. Most Character services on Retail World of Warcraft are $25 or $30, with boosts costing $60.īotting is a major issue plaguing Classic World of Warcraft's most populated realms and Burning Crusade Classic has the potential to be worse, effectively a botter's paradise.

One of the topics of discussion amongst the community would be how much this service would cost. This is likely because Blizzard wants to get a feel for different price points of what players are willing to pay.īlizzard revealed their plans at Blizzconline with Burning Crusade Classic, "Classic Era" realms, and a new "Cloning" service, allowing players to clone their characters to a Classic Era realm and progress through the Dark Portal on Burning Crusade Classic realms. Like all Blizzard surveys, this was sent out via email to random users, so there is no link to share.Įdit: It turns out Blizzard has sent different amounts to players, ranging from $9.99 to $39.99. Images from the survey have been circulating online, where Blizzard is asking the community about an acceptable price for "Cloning" services, how many times the report feature has been used, as well as how often the player encounters a bot. Blizzard has just randomly selected some users for a new World of Warcraft Classic Survey.
